Community members will have the opportunity to connect with employers and vital support services during two upcoming Reentry Resource Fairs hosted at local Community Resource Centers on Thursday, March 19. The events will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Nashville and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Murfreesboro.
Designed for ndividuals on community supervision, those who have been incarcerated, or
anyone in need of support, the events bring together employers and service providers to help attendees take the next steps toward stable employment and community success.
Participants will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from employers actively looking to hire, and can receive assistance with housing, child support, legal aid, health insurance, job skills and training, and mental health resources.
“Successful reentry requires strong community partnerships,” said Travis Davis, Director of the Nashville Community Resource Center. “Events like this connect individuals to employers who are ready to hire and to organizations that provide critical support services. By bringing these resources together in one place, we’re helping people build stability and create new opportunities for themselves and their families.”
