Barbara Ann Duke

Barbara Ann Duke, 81, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.  She was a native of Coffee Co.  Barbara is survived by her husband, Don Duke of Manchester; her son, Ricky (Wendy) Duke of Ijamsville, MD; two grandchildren, Vincent Duke of Hampton, VA and Rebecca Duke of Woburn, MA; three sisters, Marlene Duke (David) Plummer of Marrero, LA; Shirley Duke  Atnip of Woodbury; Peggy Duke Slatton of Nashville, TN.; brother, Lowell (Anita) Duke of Manchester.  Several nieces, nephews and special friends, Sharon Schrodner, Ruth Higgins                                                      of Manchester and Lucy Beaty of Woodbury.
Barbara was preceded by in death by her parents, Marvin and Rose Duke; two brothers, Morris Edward Duke and Willard Duke; two sisters, Ida Mae Duke and Wilma Jean Duke Underwood.
She was a housewife, previously worked at Rich Products and enjoyed spending time with her sweet Lacie.  She was also a member of the Simmons Chapel Methodist church.  Barbara graduated with the Class of 1961.
Her family will receive friends Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Wheeler and Bro. Josh Huff officiating.  Interment will follow in the Ivy Bluff Cemetery, Cannon Co. Pallbearers Lee Cole, Shea Basham, Jason Creek, Jeff Duke, Glenn Atnip and Tony Parker.
